The Civil Aviation Development Investment Program (CADIP) provides committed funding through to 2017 for security works, upgrading of airport runways to F100 standard, and other priority works at the national airports.

CADIP also provides committed funding for air communications, navigation and air traffic management systems grading.

The Australian Government, ADB and the World Bank have been the main development partners contributing grant and loan finance for transport infrastructure projects, together with mainly grant technical assistance for project preparation and sector policy and implementation advisory services.

Since establishment of the Unit, TSPU has initiated some programs, and undertaken some project/activities which some are still ongoing, and some are just being completed. 

Most RTIDD programs are centred at supporting Rural Transport Infrastructure Development and Services to providing access to basic service delivery in the country.
